If your child is struggling academically despite extra help, showing significant differences in performance across subjects, having trouble focusing and completing tasks, experiencing memory issues, slow processing, or difficulty with problem-solving, a psychoeducational evaluation may be beneficial. Additionally, if your child displays noticeable behavioral changes, difficulty with peer relationships, or problems with emotional regulation, an evaluation could help identify underlying issues and guide appropriate interventions.

A psychoeducational evaluation typically involves multiple sessions to ensure your child is comfortable and performing at their best. Once testing is completed, results will be analyzed into a detailed report that includes a comprehensive interpretation of your child’s strengths and areas of need. We will then schedule a feedback session to review the findings, discuss next steps, and develop a plan to address the identified concerns, whether it involves school-based interventions, therapy, or additional resources.

First Coast Evaluation Center does not accept insurance and is considered an out-of-network provider. At your request, we can provide a superbill, which is the document required by insurance companies to seek reimbursement. 

We accept debit or credit card, CareCredit, FSA/HSA, and the Family Empowerment Scholarship.

We understand that life can get in the way of scheduled appointments. We ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
